Checking Out The Very First Norwich Print Party. A Celebration Of Art And Creativity

Not too long ago, Soi Books had the pleasure of attending the Norwich Print Party, a great art fair in the heart of Norwich that brought together talented local and national artists, illustrators, groups, and businesses. The event, spanning two days, was a great platform for showcasing a diverse range of printmaking processes and approaches. Amidst the buzzing atmosphere, we had the opportunity to meet some incredible individuals who left an indelible impression on us.

Meeting the Crew from Posterzine - The Poster That's Also a Magazine

One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the crew behind Posterzine - The Poster That's Also a Magazine. Their innovative concept fuses what everyone loves about a poster with the captivating content of a magazine. Absolutely love all the issues they’ve put together and we had a good chat about some potential collaobrations - watch this space :)

Vicki and the No.19 Shop in Norwich

Shoutout to Vicki and the No.19 Shop. Located in the heart of Norwich, her shop is a haven for art enthusiasts, offering a carefully curated collection of unique prints and artworks. She produces some great work herself and with a bit of luck we might be able to get some of our books into her store soon.

Encountering Marko: The Artist with a Subliminal Muse

The Norwich Print Party introduced us also to the incredible talent of artist Marko. His art is has that vibe of modernist design and print fusing with cartoons, psychedelic graphics, and minimalist abstraction. Great to see his stall and lovely to see his work in real life!

Have to say it was a wonderful event, perfect for a weekend trip from London and very much looking forward to the 2024 edition!
